Since 1983
Our firm
A storefront practice on North Krome
The practice was established in 1983 and has kept the same kind of work ever since: people injured on the highways and in the packing houses of South Dade, homeowners whose carriers went quiet after a storm, crew and passengers off the ships that sail out of the ports up the road, and employees who were shown the door for the wrong reason.
It is a small office by design. Two lawyers of record, a walk-in door on Krome Avenue, and a telephone that is answered by someone who can find your file. There is no intake centre and no call queue. The trade-off is that the calendar is genuinely finite, which is why appointments are taken by slot rather than by overbooking the morning.
We would rather tell you at the first meeting that a deadline has passed, or that a claim is not worth bringing, than take the file and let you find out in a year.
What we will tell you plainly
- Senior partner John M. Abramson's elected Florida Bar status is Inactive — not eligible to practice law in Florida — and his Bar address of record is in Weston, Broward County.
- A second entity, the Law Offices of John M. Abramson, appears at 950 N. Krome Avenue, Suite 106, with different telephone and fax numbers.
- A separate directory page lists a toll-free number, (800) 433-3229, and a fax in the 954 area code.
- Directory records for the firm are old; one listing was last updated in 2009 and names a third attorney no longer confirmed as practising here.
